こんにちは、シバノソウです。私は日本で活動しているシンガーソングライターです。現在は大学に通って音楽を学んでいます。

私の音楽は、切実な感情の吐露をテーマにしており、特に歌詞にこだわっています。大好きなオルタナティブ・シューゲイザーのジャンルを好み、国内外問わずたくさんの音楽をリファレンスとしています。

幼い頃から音楽に囲まれた生活をしていました。そして、小さい時から文章を書くことが好きでした。中学生の時から活動を始め、ギターと作曲を独学で学びました。高校生の時には渋谷WWWでのワンマンライブをクラウドファンディングを使い450人を動員して成功させました。映像にもこだわり、それらは全て自分で協力してくれる人を集めました。

20歳を過ぎてからは、「本当に自分がやりたいことはなんだろう？」と考えた結果、バンドをやることだと気づき、好きなバンドの中からメンバーを集め、自主企画を通して自己表現を追求しています。今までにアルバムを2枚、そのほか自主で出したCD-Rは15枚以上にのぼります。

大学では音楽のほか、建築、美術、哲学など多岐にわたって学んでいるところです。料理、文章、映像制作にも興味があり、実際間借りでカレー屋をやったりイベントでカレーを振る舞うなどの活動をしています。

私の夢は、世界中の人々と音楽を通して通じ合うこと、大好きなアメリカのシンガーソングライター・snail mailとライブをすることです。大きなフェスに出たいし、世界ツアーをしたいです。

Hello, my name is So Shibano. I am a singer-songwriter working in Japan. I am currently studying music at university.

My music is about the exposition of sincere emotions, with a particular focus on lyrics. I prefer my favourite alternative shoegaze genre and use a lot of national and international music as references.

From an early age, I was surrounded by music. And I loved writing from a very young age. I started working when I was in junior high school and taught myself to play guitar and compose music. When I was in high school, I successfully performed a one-man live show at Shibuya WWW with 450 people using crowdfunding. I was also particular about the video and gathered all these people to help me by myself.

After I turned 20, I asked myself, “What is it that I really want to do?” I gathered members from bands I liked and pursued self-expression through independent projects. So far, I have released two albums and more than 15 CD-Rs on my own initiative.

I am studying a wide range of subjects at university, including architecture, art and philosophy, as well as music. I am also interested in cooking, writing and filmmaking, and I have actually rented a curry shop and serve curry at events.

My dream is to communicate with people from all over the world through music and to perform live with my favourite American singer-songwriter snail mail. I want to perform at big festivals and tour the world.
